• Which CCTV brands and camera models does SSR Trading and Electronics install?

  We work with trusted, widely supported brands such as Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, Bosch and Godrej, selecting the model that matches your site conditions and budget. For residential and small commercial projects we typically recommend HD analog or 4MP IP cameras, while larger campuses get 4K IP systems with dedicated NVRs. Every unit we supply is sourced through authorised channels with genuine warranty, and we explain the trade-offs of each option during the site visit so you can choose confidently.

• What exactly is covered under your Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)?

  Our AMC covers scheduled preventive visits, lens and dome cleaning, firmware updates, storage health checks, power supply inspection and cable continuity testing across your entire installation. If a camera, DVR, NVR or network switch fails during the contract period, our technicians diagnose and resolve it, with replacement handled as per the agreed plan tier. We offer both comprehensive AMC with parts coverage and non-comprehensive AMC with labour-only support, so you can pick the level that suits your property.

• How long does a complete interior project take from start to handover?

  A single-room refresh such as a modular kitchen or wardrobe typically finishes in 3 to 5 weeks, while a full 2BHK or 3BHK apartment interior usually spans 8 to 12 weeks. Commercial fit-outs depend on carpet area, statutory approvals and civil scope, and we share a week-by-week schedule before work begins. Timelines assume material selections are confirmed on time and society permissions are in place, and we assign a single project coordinator so you always know the current status.

• What warranty do you provide on CCTV equipment and installation work?

  Cameras, recorders and network hardware carry the manufacturer warranty, which generally ranges from 1 to 3 years depending on the brand and model. Our own installation workmanship, including cabling, conduit routing, connectors and configuration, is warranted for 12 months from the date of handover. If a fault traces back to our installation during that period, we attend and rectify it at no additional cost, and we document the warranty start date in your handover file.

• Can I view my cameras remotely on my phone, and how is that set up?

  Yes. Every IP and most HD systems we install are configured for secure remote viewing on Android, iOS, Windows and Mac through the manufacturer's official app. We register your device, set up user accounts with individual permissions, enable motion alerts and walk you through the interface before we leave site. If your broadband is unstable, we can also configure 4G router failover so monitoring continues even when the primary internet line drops.

• What happens during the free site survey and how long does it take?

  A technician visits your property, studies the layout, entry and exit points, lighting conditions and existing wiring, and notes your specific security concerns. The visit usually takes 30 to 60 minutes for a home and up to two hours for commercial or industrial premises. Within 24 to 48 hours you receive a written proposal with camera placement, recommended models, cabling plan, timeline and a transparent itemised quote with no hidden charges.

• Do you handle both security systems and interiors under one contract?

  Yes, and that is one of our biggest advantages. Because we execute CCTV, networking, access control, false ceiling and interior finishes together, we plan cable routes, conduits and camera positions into the design stage rather than retrofitting them afterwards. You deal with one project coordinator, one schedule and one point of accountability for the entire scope. This also eliminates the coordination gaps that usually appear when separate vendors handle electrical, network and interior work.

• How much does a typical CCTV installation cost in Bangalore?

  Pricing depends on camera count, resolution, storage retention and cabling distance. A basic 4-camera HD home setup with a DVR and 1TB storage generally starts around Rs. 28,000 including installation, while 8 to 16 camera IP systems for commercial premises scale upward based on model choice and NVR capacity. We provide a fully itemised quotation after the site survey so you can see exactly what each component costs, and there are no separate charges for configuration or handover training.

• Can you install systems in rented homes or leased commercial spaces?

  Absolutely. We regularly work in rented apartments, co-working offices and leased showrooms, and we design installations that are clean, discreet and easy to dismantle if you relocate. Where drilling is restricted, we use surface conduit, adhesive trunking and wireless camera options that leave minimal marks. We also provide a reinstatement note listing what was installed, so you can hand over the property in its original condition when the lease ends.

• What is the difference between HD analog and IP CCTV systems?

  HD analog systems transmit video over coaxial cable to a DVR and are cost-effective, simple to maintain and ideal for smaller properties with existing cabling. IP systems send digital video over network cable to an NVR, delivering higher resolution, better analytics, easier scaling and cleaner integration with access control and building networks. During the survey we assess your building's wiring, internet backbone and future expansion plans, then recommend the technology that genuinely fits rather than the most expensive option.

• Do you provide networking, Wi-Fi and structured cabling services too?

  Yes. We design and execute structured cabling with CAT6 and fibre, install racks, patch panels and managed switches, and deploy enterprise-grade Wi-Fi with proper access point placement and VLAN separation. CCTV traffic is kept on a dedicated network segment so video streaming never slows down your office or home internet. We also handle ISP coordination, firewall configuration and ongoing network health monitoring as part of our support plans.
